Hi darling,
Today is a deep + intense Full Moon in Scorpio. Whilst everything blooms above ground, this flower moon in its fullness is illuminating our depths, the spots we often hide away, avoid or deny. It’s shining its light on the places that scare us the most, often lingering in the dark corners. The things we haven’t wanted to admit, face or look at. But we’ve reached a point now, where we can’t ignore them any longer.
We tend to avoid these places and things because they hold a lot of deep emotion for us. Often, they are tied to great feeling — joy, pain, ecstasy, heartbreak, our greatest expansion and deepest wounding.
But there comes a time when we simply need to face things because there isn’t another option. It can often become a very loud or obvious issue in our life that is creating tension, dis-ease, pain, havoc, or simply preventing us from growing and moving forward, expanding in new ways and experiencing the things we deeply long for.
There comes a time when we are called to feel things fully in order to let them go. And when we do, when we face these deepest fears or attachments and what’s really at the root of them with honesty, something very interesting happens. We (often suddenly) become free of them. A part of us transcends the fear because we have consciously looked at it and acknowledged it.
It’s no longer hiding in the shadows, seeking your attention and draining your energy.
When we do this, we can begin to see the truth of matters. The eternal, enduring truth. We encounter the part of us that exists beyond this fear, this attachment, this loss, this achievement, this identity, this body even. And here, infinite possibilities and space open up. Because we have released the thing that was making us feel so constricted — simply by acknowledging it with honesty and creating space for it to be expressed.
So, what have you been most afraid of? It’s likely that these things have been making themselves known to you lately, rising to the surface of your awareness….
We do ourselves no favours when we continue to ignore them.
I’ve been in a deep process of openly admitting some of my deepest fears in recent weeks and it’s been incredibly illuminating and liberating.
We can often be afraid of engaging in this type of deep intimacy, closeness and honesty with ourselves. How much do we really know about our deepest fears and desires? Do we truly understand our own hearts?
The Full Moon in Scorpio is revealing an emotional message that you are ready to face, address, or understand.
We are ready to make life changes that are emotionally and intuitively guided, and that align us with our higher calling.
Below are some journalling prompts to support your process of unraveling your own heart. I really hope they help ❤️
I’m also sharing a Yoga Nidrā practice that will guide you into a deeply relaxed state where you can intuitively connect with your inner guidance on which path to follow when and if you’re feeling faced with two options or paths. It will guide you into a space of inner knowing and trust. You will not regret making this time for connecting with yourself on a deeper level.
Contemplations for the Full Flower Moon in Scorpio:
🌸 What are my emotions telling me right now?
🌸 What am I most afraid of? What do I fear would happen if…?
🌸 What big changes do I feel ready to make in my life?
🌸 How would it feel to let this go? What is it I’m being called to let go of?
🌸 What part of you is enduring, even if you let this go?
🌸 What part of you never goes away, no matter what changes in your external life?
🌸 What is already dead/complete that I’ve perhaps been continuing to water?
