Hi dear loves,
What an entry into the new year it has been so far. Lots happening in the world, plenty of activity shifting realities very quickly, and I wonder, what’s been happening for you personally? What’s been coming up within you at this time of life? What feels important and what no longer does? What’s falling away and what is emerging in its place?
The beautiful thing that seems to be happening right now is the clearing away of all that isn’t true, important, all that isn’t Love in its purest form. There is SO much — everything that matters — that lives in our hearts and can never be taken away.
Fear Not.
What is not real, never was and never will be.
What is real, always was and cannot be destroyed.
—Bhagavad Gita
I also want to remind you that it’s perfectly wonderful if your shift into the new year these past couple of weeks has been full of slowness and stillness. This is exactly what the depths of winter calls for. I know for me, my body has been communicating the strong need for this, with extra hours of deep restful sleep, cozy slow evenings by the fire, endless cups of tea, lots of meditation.
Sometimes the spaciousness and nothing-ness is exactly what’s needed. The sacred pause for restoration and reflection. For visioning and dreaming what’s to come….Here in the quiet, the clarity begins to slowly seep in, from within.
So often in our world way out of balance, we push against these natural rhythms.
Like the trees that shed their leaves and the bears that hibernate in their dens, our bodies are designed to rest deeply in the winter. To honour the rhythm of the seasons is to honour our own nature—slowing down, conserving energy, and sinking into stillness to renew the vitality that spring will call forth.
In this spirit, I’ll be sharing a Yoga Nidrā practice for Winter Hibernation below (my new year gift to you!), guiding you into delicious layers of deep relaxation and stress release you may not have experienced for some time ~ within your personal Rest Nest.
These Yoga Nidrā practices are typically available only for paid subscribers but I want you to be able to start your year off in this beautiful energy 💋 To receive them each month, be sure to subscribe below (for less than the cost of a yoga class!)

The Energy of 2025
Now, on to the energies incoming for 2025. They’re strong! I pulled these cards back on December 30th, and can’t really believe what’s unfolding already collectively as it relates to these — especially the Divine Feminine energy.
The themes for 2025 will be: Completions and New Beginnings (Death & Rebirth), Transition, Courage, Transcending Fears, Overcoming Blocks, Letting Go, Simplifying, Surrender & Sacrifice, Divine Wisdom, Honing Creativity & Intuition, Heart-Centered Leadership, Teamwork & Collaboration, Finding Alignment, Harmonious Action, Dharmic Purpose.
What’s been coming through so clearly is the necessity of honouring the need for completions before fully beginning something new. What is still taking up space in our energetic field or life that isn’t allowing the new to come. We must clear the space.
These may be patterns of thinking, relating, seeing ourselves, of holding back our own power or expression out of fear (our 40-day meditation this winter will focus on dissolving these blocks!)
We must break down old, restrictive barriers to make way for new beginnings. It’s as simple as that. It’s natural law.
It’s important to look at our own resistance to change: our ingrained patterns and old habits running deep within. The winter is a great time for this!
Completing unfinished business from the past and finding resolution is very important right now. Otherwise we can’t create something completely new and more beautiful, in our lives or the world. What have been sticking points for you that have felt hard to let go of or break through? Inner child work may be key here!
Also, confronting the inner critic in order to be true to our authentic self-expression that is at the core of our being vs. being dutiful and potentially abandoning ourself and our true desires.
By untangling from what no longer resonates, we create fertile space for fresh beginnings.
AND let’s talk about these beautiful divine feminine energies of Kali and Sekhmet coming in strong!
This is all about releasing all that doesn’t serve the ultimate truth of who we are. This is a wake-up call that gets us aligned - as soon as possible - with what we’ve come here for. The fiercest forms of the divine feminine are coming in to bring things either to an end or to life as necessary. And this is THE MOST loving energy there is. These energies cut through illusion, granting us freedom and the truth our soul came here to experience.
The divine Protectress, the goddess of divine retribution is stepping in to bring harmony and balance back to our Earth. This is the female power that ends wars, that seeks justice for the earth and for those who can’t speak for or defend themselves.
This energy is calling forth our true strength. Everything in our lives has led us to this moment, where we can act with Love on behalf of what breaks our heart or enrages us (no shortage of that around these days). This is what allows us to create change, to better our lives and the world around us. It is why we are here, now.
The Goddess is saying very clearly that she wants us to free ourselves from destructive patterns that need to end. To create the boundaries we need to protect ourselves and others. This helps us move from feeling helpless to taking loving action on behalf of the greater good.
She wants us to sever the ties our ego has made out of fear, or out of a false belief that we don’t deserve better or more. She is giving us the opportunity to choose again, to start over, and this time from a place of tremendous wisdom and strength: our vulnerability. She lets us begin again from the bare-bones truth of who we really are.*
What is the call of your soul, what does it want to create, express, experience in this life? Why are you really here?
If you want support on this initiatory journey, please get in touch about private mentorship on your dharmic soul path here.
This is a journey of Self-Alchemy. Are you transforming into something new? We are all now going through spiritual and psychological transformations of the soul, where how we once saw ourselves or what is important is changing. Our entire concept of reality and what’s possible may be shifting. And that’s a good thing! But it can be disorienting, and a process that requires someone holding a vision of what’s possible with and for us, while helping us to stay grounded. As a trained neuro-emotional coach and spiritual guide, I’m here for you as you integrate your outward and inward life to feel aligned on your soul’s truest path.

40-Day Meditation for Creativity, Abundance & Flow
Begins this Week!
In the coming weeks of winter, I felt this meditation was the perfect way to support us in navigating the themes this big year is bringing with grace and inner strength.
In the yogic tradition, we practice consistently for 40 days as this is the amount of time required to build new neuro-pathways, habits, and patterns.
The meditation supports in allowing the creative expression that is needed to give birth to new parts of one’s life.
New feelings, new ways of health and well-being, new ways of transforming, new ways of setting limits (boundaries), new ways of being compassionate to self and others, new forms of relationship.
It helps us in generating abundance by using our multiple talents effectively and creatively, and gives the courage to be who we are without fear.
It encourages childlike play, curiosity, and exploration — to be fully who you are in a very dynamic and creative way.
I hope you’ll join us! You can by becoming a subscriber (for less than the cost of a yoga class) and you’ll have access to future seasonal 40-day meditations, as well as regular yoga nidrā practices that you can do at home.
I’m wishing you all so much new growth, opportunity, abundance, health and fulfillment this year! Let’s stay closely connected to our hearts together through our practices and loving intentions as we continue to weather the storms 🌈
